Playoff Mutton Chops Posts: 6,212 Group: Head Admin Member #8 Joined: April 9, 2006	Come on guys, don't make me and Saiayn Pride the only ones talking baseball... again! I've been kind of dissapointed this season with the White Sox. Wasn't expecting too much going into the season, but they've been real hit or miss most of the year. For instance, went to a game last Tuesday and they dominated the Twins winning 7-2. Then I go Thursday for the 3rd game of the series looking for a sweep, and they get blown out 20-1. And yes, I stayed the whole game. A true fan never abandons his team. And then, today, they beat the Angels 16-3. It's like... damn! All over the place! They just need to stay consistent. Also, I'd like to say I'm very dissapointed with what happened with Manny Ramierez. You can't trust anyone now. We've had times like the Dead Ball Era, so this whole era we just completed should be known as The Steroid Era. The sooner it's recognized as that, the better. It's just a shame that some of the only clean players such as Frank Thomas and Ken Griffey Jr. were overshadowed at some points by these cheaters.

David Ortiz is really struggling. They were just beat by the Twins (I'm surrounded by Twins fans) I was liking the Dodgers (mainly because of Ramirez) but he was suspended, Still there having a good year.

Autobot Posts: 559 Group: Members Member #76 Joined: May 12, 2006	I've had it with the Pirates, no other organization in major sports tries to fail like the Pirates do, everytime a player begins to show real talent they trade them away for minor league prospects that may or may not pay off.

I mean, what's going to happen when this next group of youngsters thy just traded for becomes arbitration eligible? Are they just going to treade them away too? The Pirates front office has to do some major rearranging if they hope to compete anytime in the near future.

So you have national teams and whatnot, but the main focus is always going to be the MLB because that's where the world's elite all play. Maybe we'll see a Mexican major league team in the future, but who knows if we'll ever see one overseas.
