Kami Posts: 9,079 Group: Members Member #9 Joined: April 10, 2006	So who here thinks when it's all said and done, somebody should record themselves rapping the Freestyle thread? There needs to be beats though. If said rapping member can't/doesn't have the tech to sample or even make their own music, maybe another member could do that. I think the thread will need to reach like 10 pages before it becomes a suitable song though. Well, it'll be a song with some shoddy lyrics, but whatever. Who wants this? btw, the only reason I made a new thread to ask this is because I didn't want to disrupt or derail the actual Freestyle thread with this discussion.

Super Saiyan Posts: 2,802 Group: Members Member #45 Joined: April 24, 2006	i have beat making technology (although im really good at the rhythm section just not at the melody section) but for anyone who knows a shred about hip-hop there are some obvious problems so if anyone hasn't realised this i'll have to go through some rap basics i've learnt 1. we've got many sections where the rhyming scheme veers off i.e. we have a section of 5 rhyming bars which is just f***ing weird! 2. how should it be assembled in bar form? 16's 32's? 3. lines have differing tempos and syllables which is the biggest problem of all! never the less i'd be more than willing to do some of the leg work to get this up and running.
