Here is a thread in which you can say how you really feel, without fake smiles and whispers. Tell the world what is on your mind, and be TOTALLY honest and truthful. Is there something you don't like about something? Say it. Is there something bothering you? Explain. Something haunting your every waking thought? Oh, do tell! And hey- if there is something that someone said that bothers you, or someone's actions that concern you, go ahead and let them know (but of course, don't be hateful, be reasonable). And this will give them a reason to defend themselves or to fix a misunderstanding. So, to be fair, I will get started- I am very concerned with our possible change to a forum (that we have to pay for) when, I feel, there is a very big risk that it won't help to gain members or build activity, in the long run. I am wondering why a certain member, who was very active, left. Vgirl has, like, disappeared? Anyone know what happened to her? Did we do something to make her dislike us?

I have something that is always bugging me and that is school. My parents expect me to get all A's no matter what if i get a B i am in huge trouble and I just don't like all of that pressure on me to do so well even if my GPA is good.

Night Shift Admin Posts: 2,067 Group: Admin Member #17 Joined: April 16, 2006	Just wanted to point out one thing before it get's out of hand none of you members would have to pay a thing it would be me who would be paying to buy a license to use a VBulletin board a one time payment and Live Action Anime would be a VBulletin board. New ideas for spreading word of mouth, reputation, etc. and really making the site special. Perhaps we could use some non-staff ideas and thoughts.

Autobot Posts: 959 Group: Members Member #65 Joined: May 11, 2006	New ideas for spreading the word...well...Affiliates wouldn't hurt at all...I would suggest tons more...TONS more threads/topics or whatever they're called...having maybe a "forum games" place...say a Roleplay game created by forum members used on the forum... theres a HUGE pokemon forum...won't say the name because I'm sure that would be classified as advertising and I'm not sure if thats tolerated here...but its usually so active the server slows down immensely and one of their main "attractions" is their forum rpg. that and their Misc. board which has a religion subthread, debate subthread...just....TONS and TONS of threads and subthreads.... Oh, and maybe a new site design? Not even a "competition"...just have a few of the best photoshopers and designers and editors just come together and decide on the right color scheme, a light or dark theme, which designs go where...I mean...you know...stuff like that...maybe even like what we have here and have a "change theme" bar. : / just thoughts.

Well...hm....like I said...Affiliates wouldn't hurt...I would suggest...a twitter for us...like we used to have a myspace for us...a facebook for us...uhm...maybe a deviant art...more updates if we already have one...as for the main site, not just the forum...I think we should do something BIG with that as well...things seem kind of...cramped and dead at the same time on both the main and forum...

We have to realize that we are all growing up and most of our (school for some) jobs are getting in the way of all the free time we use to have. I just think it's best to evolve with how we grow. I mean most of (ya'll, us, whateva) have aged a good 3-5 years since the beginning. Idk, I mean i know we have a mature board, but maybe it's time for some really mature conversations like... Is it really ok to paint a monkey blue, or, ... if you prank call someone, that gives them the right to track you down and egg your house. Don't know where i was going with that but yea...

Now, I'm not so sure (and at the same time, I don't really care either way). Everyone has their disagreements, and I'll admit- I used to get uber sensitive on here. We can be so alike. But srsly, (and honestly!) about gaining activity: This website, sadly, won't. The chances of someone going "hmmm, i reely like dem japnees cartunes! mebe sinss i lub dem filems dat our baced on dems, ill serch in liev axion japnees cartunes!" are very slim. There needs to be a tighter target audience if we want people to come here. But I've made this statement before, and nothing ever comes from it so nevermind.
