The kid looks good and the setting might as well be a live action mirror image of the show. M. Night might actually pull through big time this time around.

And yea 10X better then DBE, this is going to be a big hit and i can't wait to see this movie. And like afterlife said, this is what dragonball could have been. (dragonball could have been a lot of different things, fox has it and paramount has avatar, so lefs just hope for the best reboot for dragonball). GO TEAM AVATAR. lol

I'm excited because it'll be a chance to see some real Dragonball like effects done well on the big screen. I don't know much about the series itself but I'm a fan of Shyamalan and his style. Looks like he's taking it pretty serious. Can't wait to see more!

It has that epic feel and even the music reminds me of POTC. They made a great choice casting Aang, esp. since the kid already had a black belt. I definitely planning on taking my brother.

This is from the last season...when Aang had hair for a while..I hope they add that in the last film..and have Aang shave it off dramatically (like in the show) and to symbolize who he is..and sh*t..you know..

Autobot Posts: 642 Group: Members Member #1,996 Joined: March 23, 2008	I don't think that it will be a bonafied "hit," since this is somewhat of a shaky subject (there aren't that many American films that have kid martial arts wizards that go on hero quests... not to mention that did well) that is using weird and esoteric material and won't be directed by a very popular director. Of course this could change all that, doubtful though. I predict that this will earn no more than 30-35 million, maybe possibly forty if they get really really lucky, domestically throughout its three week run. That's not a hit for that kind of film. Gross, 70 mill is being generous I think. This won't win any awards, maybe a teen choice award for the lead or one of the supporting actors/actresses. It could do well though, and if it doesn't he's in trouble because The Happening was disappointing, "the greatest B movie ever made." That's like getting the award for most improved director.

It seems to me like they're trying to be faithful to the source which is good. Like just about everybody here said, why couldn't Dragonball be more like this?

Its definitely going to be better then Evolution and they are going to advertise it a lot better. I saw the trailer when i went to watch Transformers 2 and it looks good. Somebody said it will earn 30-35 mil??? it will get somewhere more then 100 mil. Anime is interesting, story is good, and if they stick with the anime story it will be epic.
