Image edited by midori Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another), I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in? You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free. Do you have what it takes to become a monster? ![]() If you're already a monster here then please slobiverate your details below in order to access all the features you deserve: (Plus, you'll get rid of this annoying reminder.) |

I think there is, but I can not find one in Dagupan. Maybe in Manila or other places. Why? |

Maybe you could rent it to determine whether to buy it or not yourself. |

If it were me, I'd hold out for Platinum's release later next year. The WiFi capabilities are much better, plus the Torn World is awesome and the story is better than in Diamond. ...this coming from the girl who gave up on Diamond halfway through but can't put down Platinum!! I've been playing it every day on the train - sooo much fun! Either way, both Diamond and Pearl are very good games, but I do enjoy the upgraded Platinum better. Buuuut, if you have played Pokemon games in the past and not enjoyed them, then I wouldn't recommend any of the DS versions...because deep down, they are all essentially the same game, just with more bells and whistles :) Sometimes the battles can get a little daunting and repetitive, and training between bosses is a pain in the butt, but if you enjoy that kind of thing, the new games are fantastic! And Bryan, the cover scared you?! The brown paint's there to make it look a bit more aged. I wanted an elegant kind-of-old-but-still-new look for it...I wonder if that came across properly? |

I'm pretty much a Kanto and Johto girl myself, though I was more satisfied with what little Diamond I played (Brother had me do some crap for him when he didn't want to do it himself) than than I was with Ruby and Sapphire (which I found so boring I never got too far in). My main problem was that the wi-fi trading pretty much makes it too dang easy to "catch 'em all." Luke has boxes full of shinies and legendaries even though their only real worth is that they are rare (my best pokemon ever was a Butterfree in Pokemon Yellow that I raised as a Caterpie onwards), and he treats Bidoof like livestock he's only selling to get more. That and it seems like there's too many items and sorts of useless junk after Johto. *Le sigh* |

Instead of renting, maybe I'll try to download it and try it using the emulator. I played Pokemon Ruby and I really loved it. But come to think of it, if the Pokemon Diamond is sort of like that again (battles, evolution, etc.), I'm afraid I might get bored with playing Pokemon again. I finished Pokemon Ruby, but I haven't collect all of the Pokemon. I wanted to buy a DS game because I wanted to own another one aside from the games I have, and also for the "collection of great games" reason, I guess. Finding a DS game card costing 800 PHP made me happy because that's the first time I saw a DS card costing less than 1000 PHP. The other DS cards I saw last time were about 1500 PHP. (And if I buy one, it will be the first time for me to buy a DS card since my aunt bought the DS games I have right now.) As for now, I'm not so sure if I buy it. (Pokemon Diamond is in the top ten DS games according to GameFaqs.) I will buy a DS game but I'm not so sure if Pokemon Diamond is the one, I only saw few DS games in the place where I saw it and most of them are not so interesting. By the way, do you have other DS games you want to recommend me? I like games that will not finish in just days or in a week. I really like fun games which will be hard to beat that will make me play it almost forever. As for the cover, it actually looks cool. It's just, I don't like my DS to have a cover like that so...

Hmm... Seeing as how few DS games I've personally played, I can't really help you. For example, if I played "Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble" and liked it, I could recommend it since I loved VJ 1 & 2 on Gamecube (they're also on PS2), but since I haven't played it yet, I have no opinion on that one. Sorry.

That's okay. I just bought Pokemon Diamond and I'm having a hard time battling with the first gym leader, because his Pokemons are rock types and mine (first Pokemon) is a Fire Type Pokemon. It's an imitation. I want to buy the original one but I don't have a choice. There aren't any original DS cards in Dagupan. |

OMG My brain age in Brain Age 2 is 26; I'm so close to 20 ("ideal" brain age according to the game)! |

It's so hard to play that game using a DS emulator. (You know the reason, right?) |
