Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another),

I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in?

You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free.

Do you have what it takes to become a monster?

If you're already a monster here then please slobiverate your details below in order to access all the features you deserve: (Plus, you'll get rid of this annoying reminder.)

I personally do not like the new and upgraded Nintendo DS but I am still somehow interested with it and what others think about it. What can you say about it?

I think it will be to the DS line what the Micro was to the Game Boy line. Namely, not worth it. I think it'll flop, personally. The fact that you can't play GBA games on it automatically makes it useless in my eyes. I honestly don't think the new features are enough to lead it to success. I'll stick with my DS Lite, thanks.

Word, word, and more word.

I'm sorry, but what I liked most about the older post-original Game Boy handhelds were that they had backwards compatibility. If Game Boy Color wasn't compatible with Game Boy games, for example, I would have probably never played Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow (and it would have led to two seven-year-old twins weeping tears of sadness on Christmas Day as well).

I feel the rest of the new features such as the camera and mp3 player are kinda useless by now. I've seen (legit) 1 GB mp3 players for sale for about 20 bucks, they aren't that expensive...

(PS- I forgot all about the Micro till now, so... yeah. That's a good point too.)

I do not like it too. I'm hoping there will be a new DS and then there is but I'm just so disappointed with this.

I didn't have DS Lite so I hope its price will go down when the DSi becomes available.

But I'm still waiting on what will happen with the DSi and the DSi-only games which will not be compatible with the Phat and the Lite.

(I read the Game Boy Micro was in the top ten worst handhelds.)

While I am willing to believe that, it's actually not a bad system. The screen is nice and clear, and it's great to just stick in a small purse and play on the run. I got a hand cramp playing an intense puzzle game on mine once, but for Harvest Moon it's fantastic. While it's not the most practical thing, for what it is, it's really not all that bad.

How about Virtual Boy (AKA Nintendo's first real console flop)? Only 14 or so games in its entire library, and if you played for more than thirty minutes it gave you really bad eyestrain. Now that's a crappy system.

Here it is, Kady.

What I do not like about Micro is the size of the screen.

I never heard of Virtual Boy though.

the Micro didn't support original Game Boy games like the SP did, and it forced gamers to upgrade to pesky adaptors not compatible with previous GBA hardware.
