Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another),

I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in?

You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free.

Do you have what it takes to become a monster?

If you're already a monster here then please slobiverate your details below in order to access all the features you deserve: (Plus, you'll get rid of this annoying reminder.)

that's why i don't wanna live in the province- people sleep too early and because of that everywhere is too quiet.

especially when the crickets aren't out. *shudder*

Uh... I actually like absolute quiet, if only for a brief period. I dunno, it's just soothing to me because my brother and sister literally never zip their lips. As long as it isn't for too long, I'm fine.

lol, yeah, its tolerable for a few minutes. but too long and there's bound to be gnashing of teeth xD

I don't like the quiet in which you could only hear your breathing - especially if its really long. its very very eerie...

When I'm alone in my house sometimes I play the TV really loud or makes some noisy just to calm me up.
I have done that a few times before.

Well, sometimes, I'm scared of silence, sometimes I'm not. Depending on the silence, I guess.

I've stayed home alone over the weekends since... April, I think, and I haven't used the TV unless I get really scared after hearing weird sounds.

I remember one of the first times I was home alone. I was watching "Curse of the Werewolf" on TV and suddenly the coyotes that lived in the field in front of my house started howling and growling like nuts. The dog that we had at the time (not my Holly, but the one that would eventually be in my aunt's backyard) started barking and scratching the crap out of the front door. I don't like the noise, so I started calling my mother on her cell phone (and I HATE using phones in general) screaming for her to get the heck back home because all of the noise was freaking me out.

I always hated that dog (he even killed my cat, the bastard). I actually miss the coyotes (they were actually real cool and quiet most of the time, so this was an isolated incident). I never got to finish that movie (I still want to, BTW).

there are just nights that are really eerie. weird. I usually yeah, turn on the tv, talk to someone on the internet (messengers, talk on forums, etc.) or play my music - the ones that don't sound creepy, lol.

guys, I know this is off-topic, but can we advertise here on the site?

That's scary, Kady.

Well, how will you advertise it, Jaeh? You are free to advertise it in your signature. Are you going to advertise it in a thread?

I'm not really sure yet, that's kind of why I'm asking ;) can we post in in a thread? if not, I'll just use my signature. ^^
It's a writing/writer's forum. not mine, but a friend of mine's.

I also find it eerie sometimes the huge mirror hung here in my room - especially at around past midnight, I don't like looking in it, especially during those "eerie" nights I'm talking about. I cover it up with a towel, lol.

HUGE antique mirrors are scary. sometimes.

I get it. When you look at yourself at the mirror you get the feeling that someone is also reflected that you didn't know and when you look back there is no one there.

Sometimes old stuff can have a eerie or worst "EVIL" force around it.
