Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another),

I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in?

You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free.

Do you have what it takes to become a monster?

If you're already a monster here then please slobiverate your details below in order to access all the features you deserve: (Plus, you'll get rid of this annoying reminder.)

Among other things/accomplishments listed in this article. I long knew about the crime rate, though. The newspaper also omitted the fact that Kennesaw is also one of the few places in the nation with a decent housing market still going on.

NOTE: Short of a couple of seasons of "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race," I have never been too crazy for reality shows. So that explains my reaction with the reality show thing.

In the Amazing Race, they did host in our country before and some of here where recreated and i don't like it, I prefer the original version.

You're talking about Survivor and Fear Factor, right Patrick?

Kady, I don't really like reality shows in general, I think that's cool though.

Bryan, Yes I'm referring to that too, but I don't watching the original versions anymore now and I agree with you about Kady's place having a reality show there. Has anyone heard about a reality show that flunk form the first day it was shown I read it in yahoo! a few months back? And I'm kinda feel sorry for it.

Yeah, there's been a couple of shows that have been canceled during or after their first episode. Some non-reality show ones I know about are "Turn On," "Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos," and "Emily's Reasons Why Not."

I don't like reality shows that much, especially the game show/dating show/Real World-Big Brother types. I like and will watch shows like "Supernanny," "Wife Swap," "Kitchen Nightmares (both the UK and US versions)," and "Mythbusters" but they don't really come across as reality shows to my schema for some reason. They're like anti-reality shows to me in some way I have yet to comprehend. @_@

I also noticed that said reality show is supposed to take place in Legacy Park, which is this poshy planned community neighborhood thing near my school. (It has its own dentistry for the love of God.) Considering that most results for my city on YouTube consist of some guy's obsession with recording the CSX trains that come across main street/historic area, I'm kinda worried what the heck they're going to interpret the town as on the show. It's just a mostly nice and mostly quiet college town (Kennesaw State University, which I live five minutes from, has the third highest student population in the Georgia college system).

I like our current claim to fame better- there's this law that most citizens should own handguns plus enough ammunition between their family members. That could probably explain a little bit why crime has pretty much halved in thirty years. LOL =D

Maybe the ratings were so low. I think that's how it works in American TV (canceling a show after the first episode if the ratings are so low).

Yeah, that can be a reason, or a a mass number of complaints (like what happened to "Turn-On"). Others just... "disappear."

It's what turned off "Turn On." A lot of people complained that it was too racy. Judging from some of the jokes and the time period, I can see why. Some of them really are pretty tasteless IMO.

Here's an extensive list of shows cancelled after one episode, courtesy of Wikipedia.
