We're talking about Monster Allergy in general here. I'll vote for the twists. Because I don't think I'll love it as much as I love it now if it didn't have them. That is why, personally, the animated version isn't a success to me. |

Um... This is a toughie too... The stories in the comics are far better than the cartoon, but even then there are huge flaws that brought the quality down for me, especially in the second half of the comic. The twists help patch potential plotholes to an extent and make me want to keep reading though, whether it's truly WTF or not. I honestly don't mind whether there's adventure or not. I could never write adventure to save my life, anyway. I'm not the one appropriate enough to judge that aspect without looking like a hypocrite. The character designs I can live with or without. As long as they don't hurt my eyes, I'm fine. They are very adorable for the most part, though. I'll go with characters. Obviously I was too old by the time I began reading the comics to view the comic from a tween's eye. But I know that if I hated the characters or thought they were too damn childish I would have left the series a long time ago. |

Very interesting, Kady. I enjoyed reading your insights. I definitely agree with everything you said. I couldn't have said it better myself. Monster Allergy comics indeed has interesting and unique characters. I think the characterization is kinda perfect and fits well. They are adorable too. |

Thank you. I like writing because I can do stuff like this. Speaking out loud like that would just sound like preaching to the choir to me, especially if it wasn't provoked. |

I voted for the designs (but the adventure was a close second.) Usually how characters look get me first and I really liked Zick's design when I first saw it. His (and every characters') facial expressions are so dynamic but they don't feel too rushed or pushed and are close to natural. At least in their 'verse. XD And, on the slash side, I didn't really like Teddy's design at first (Like Kevin Levin from Ben 10) but I warmed up to it. <3 And now I can ship as much as I please~ As for the adventure, I think I just enjoy (young) teens on dangerous adventures. Martin Mysteries, The Secret Saturdays, Ben 10... All series that I would enjoy a major crossover of. <3 But I enjoyed the adventuring fun and fear in all of them, and that goes for Monster Allergy too. Though I'm betting that the comic says different, so I better jump on it. XD |

You GOTTA hear Zick in Italian, then. The cuteness scale goes up to 11, as Spinal Tap would say. *^_____________^* |

I didn't like Teddy's design at first too. Even hated his green stripes shirt. But like you, I warmed up to it. Nice insights. I enjoyed reading it. (: For me, the designs play a big role. One reason why I love MA is because the characters look cute and adorable. I'm in love with adventures. But they're quite optional for me. |
