Dear creature (since I'm not sure if you're a human or a monster or an animal or something pretending to be another),

I throw my arms as a symbol of "thankfulness" for visiting this oasis. But just so I know who's specifically knocking at our oasis's front door, do you mind if you register or log in?

You're currently wandering outside our oasis as a ghost. This means your face is unrecognizable and you are limited to certain areas of our oasis and there are some abilities you don't possess. If you become one of us, you'll be able to access monster-only sections, and use many monster-only features such as having a slimy profile, sending monsterosas letters, and a lot more. Monsterification is simple, fast, and completely free.

Do you have what it takes to become a monster?

With Monster Allergy Next Gen Tome 2 about to be released yet in France, let's take a peek of what's inside Tome 1.

According to Ms. Barbara Canepa, it contains:

Quote:

* Several unpublished issues in a whole volume, in this case issues num. 21/ 22 and 23
* New modern format (I wonder what she meant by new modern format?)
* New graphics by Alessandro and me [Barbara Canepa]
* Cover by Canepa & Barbucci with the help of Cyrille Bertin for the colours.

It also contains a summary of what happened in the first 20 issues. The first tome was released August 26, 2011 by Le Lombard Publishing and contains 144 pages.

Check out the preview right here. And also here.

LOL

The introduction to the tome was cute. Having Zick and Elena looking through photos recapping the previous issues/our story to date was cute too.

Oh, and I want to know what exactly "new modern format" means too. Is it the book style or something? The MA comics were mostly in hardcover in France. I think the paperback edition I had was a special/bargain print or something.

I agree. I'm planning to make it English but I'm going to be using pure Google Translate if ever.

So it's not the book style then. Every issue contains 45 pages (including the cover) so that's 135, plus 4 pages of summary and credits page equals 140. So if it's really 144 pages then there won't be any Bombo Handbooks and other features right?

Guess not. Maybe that's what issue 30 is for- all the handbooks/files/short comics.

That's a good point.
If issue 30 isn't continuing the original series, that's the best possible answer for just what the hell issue 30 IS IMO. Next Gen is just previously published material to Italians and Singaporeans, but not in France or Spain. And Yolanda confirmed that there weren't any mini-comics in the original Spanish tomes...

Judging from Yolanda's posts, I assume it is.

Hello.
Now they are publishing the comics in Spain, but not the volumes of Next Gen, are the comics, the first comic and the second at the moment, I have some pictures here, I think new format is the colors in these images can be seen.
For the moment, Next Gen is only publishing in France,
I've got the comic scan, I download it a few weeks ago, I haven't got the second issue.
