Always hear guys saying they have problems with after market proms. Also that they dont want to get involved in burning there own proms. sure why not... I started off with a provin bin. ARAP (was an aggresive bin used in cars to be tested by magazines for the L98 Fbody and the vette) I just changed a few things..fuel cut off 6100 as a rev limiter, lowered the temp for#1 fan to turn on, changed fuel injector size, few other thing but the bin. was pretty aggresive so it has worked out well. Cool thing with the Prominator is I can change any computer setting in seconds with a laptop can even tune while driving. |

I'm confused.... So Prominator eliminates the use of the actually Chips and lets you tune direct to the ECU through this thing? So no buring proms and stuff anymore??? |

yes, its a prom eliminator (prominator) goes where the prom was and has ribbon cable on it that you then attach to a laptop. Then you download a bin file to the prominator and you can just flash it with new settings |
