Didn't know to post this here or in Aftermarket products... Do you guys think that instead of the stock black shift knobs our cars have that something like a hurst chrome knob or a piston shaped one would look good? I'd like to see how one looks, and if they even make one. Also anyone know a good site to get novelty hood pins? I have plain ones, but I saw once ones with chevy emblems on the side, ever seen them? Tell me if you have pics of what a different shift knob looks like in a 3rd gen, for some reason beside my curiosity I feel it may not fit well, eh? |

I went with NOS firebird shift knob - I just prefer the t handle instead of the 8ball or square ball |

Come to think of it, I don't know if I want my car to look riced out even if those kinds of knobs are usually found on older muscle cars...but I still need new hood pins. Original shifter will stay I believe. |

hahhahaa.. thanks... Ashley..i believe it costs around 250-300 for it..and it's pretty easy to install...it's the megashifter from B&M designed for thirdgens... As far as the appearance...i like my women..uhmmm.. i mean my cars kinda rough... I'm more of a mechanical kinda guy....I'm usually hell bent on getting more horsepower ...cosmetics are secondary...
