ecu and lockup; tpi to carb swap

When i convert to carburated, can i leave the ecu hooked up for the trans lockup function or am i forced to hook up a manual switch? I'd rather leave it in if it still will operate the lockup.

i believe the ecu will be useless after the swap.

I went with the painless wiring lockup kit works pretty good. easy install.
1987 iroc zz4 crate motor edelbrok rpm air gap
speed demon 650 carb msd ignition 3:73 posi spohn lca
spohn panhard bar spohn driveshaft loop full autometer gauges
4 in hardwood march pulleys slp headers/y-pipe sub frame connectors CK th400 3000 stall
front end rebuild

i also wired in a manual lockup switch... yeah the computer you can throw into a bonfire.. :smokingdope:

or if your gettin a new aftermaket higher stall conv...then jus order a non lockup on ...thats what i did
