Just wanted to get some feedback from you guyz....I'm looking for some new shoes for the woman ...

I was looking at these tires and I wanna stuff them in the back of my car..

http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/mickeyth...reetradial.aspx

for rims.. i was looking at the centerlines...maybe one of these two:

http://centerlinewheels.com/wheel_deals_de...=vehicle&data=1

or...(what badassz28 has)

http://centerlinewheels.com/wheel_deals_de...=vehicle&data=1

for the front I'm gonna go with skinnies cause of the manual rack im gonna install...as far as rim sizes , I think I can custom order them to fit the back of my car...Do you guys think 315's would look too wide in the back?

yeah..I'm really liking the 315's idea myself...

sorry about the skinnies Eddie, dont worry i still love you though :D

I dont really care about corner carving so the skinnies wont bother me, plus I think it would give my car a really mean stance....I'm a straight line kinda guy :smokingdope:

I was on the phone with Centerline ...they will custom make it for my car...but the problem now is they only make 9.5 inch width's...and they make the rims 17 inches and 18's ... im thinking 18 in back and 17 in front..the 17's are 329 a piece and the skinnies are 299 a piece..

....im on the phone with mickey thompson...will keep you guys posted on what i get... :P

Fcuk...back to the old drawing board... centerline said the only size they can make for the rear for the champs is 9.5 inches from bead to bead..that equates to a max tire width of 275... and the front the skinniest he can make it is 7 inches which would equate to a 245 size tire...shit..im pissed.. <_<

Edit...ok..I think my other option would be...these:

http://centerlinewheels.com/wheel_deals_de...=vehicle&data=1

they make 15 by 4 for fronts and the back in all diff. sizes.. only disadvantage is the rims sizes are only in 15's .. no 17 or 18...I guess that'll have to do...gotta see...

^ To tell u the truth drag ones were the ones i always had my eyes on from the begining...I remember buying a drag racing dvd like 5 years ago..and there was this nice red thirdgen and the announcer was like "Wow that is an amazingly beautiful camaro!!" ... and this guy had the drag rims on there.. since that day on i was like I should get those rims too..anyhoo..i think those are my only option anyways..

Sam please chill with the "Tuner" crap.

Manny, also look into American racing, Foose and Boyds.
And no, Centerlines are not crap at all. There awesome wheels for any F-body.

Those wheels are more at home on a Jap import. That's be like if I bought a GTR and slapped on a set of Centerlines. Wouldn't look right.

Dave's suggestions for wheel companies are really nice, they make some good stuff. I know you don't want to do corner carving, but I've always loved the Torq Thrust wheels on the Camaro. They look right at home there.
Currently looking for a 91-92 Z28, TTA or GN

This is also an awesome site for wheels-
http://www.wheelsforless.com/billetgtp.htm

I like the GTP08's for youre car

Also, Look into ZR1 wheels, The real GM ones. They put some pretty meaty sneakers under those cars. I think they had 17x10's. Anyone see the C4 ZR1's sell on Barett jackson last night? There was also a twin turbo 92 GTA that sold for i think 47k.. it was nice.

Dave..it's funny i kinda like the gtp52's the only ones you didn't mention  ..I would do the ones you suggested way back..the corvette rims, but i want to get skinnies in the front ( at least 4 inch width)..I gotta look at those links you posted, a little more thoroughly....thanks for input.

Sam...dunno about those rims...they make skinnies for those?

Alex... I kinda agree with your idea that 15's suck..seems like alot of companies make 15 inch drag tires and rims.. :idk: ...I'm gonna try and do 17's though...

I really like 15" rims with a 28"+ tall tire... i think it looks really good to have a fat sidewall on a slick tire. But with street tires and drag radials I like the bigger rims.

Thanks for the input mucker...dont know about putting those on my car though....I guess im going for a more drag race type rim... :D

Actually, the main reason why im looking for rims is because i am gonna install a manual rack..so i really want to put a small iddy bitty skinny tire in the front.(around 4 inch width)..less resistance...I'll keep you guys posted on my decision...Thanks for all the help...
