Yeah Dave... welds are definately one of my top pics so far... I'm afraid that i might need some longer wheel studs and a spacer in the back to fit the 315's though...I hope they wont stick out of the fender too much..might look a little weird on a thirdgen...but then again maybe not, if i have skinnies in the front...Damn...this is why I haven't bought rims yet, i'm so freaking indecisive.. :bang: :bang:

This is also an awesome site for wheels-
http://www.wheelsforless.com/billetgtp.htm

I like the GTP08's for youre car

Also, Look into ZR1 wheels, The real GM ones. They put some pretty meaty sneakers under those cars. I think they had 17x10's.  Anyone see the C4 ZR1's sell on Barett jackson last night?  There was also a twin turbo 92 GTA that sold for i think 47k.. it was nice.

WTF!?!? :smokingdope:

Dave you like those!??!

ewww no offense!!!

yep, I knew id get at least one of those. yeah, i think they look really 80's classic thirdgen.

Hey Manny, you should get the GTP47s, in 15s, have them powdercoated gold and then do the hydraulics in the front that make your car bounce up and down.. now THAT's classic California 80s thirdgen right there homes!

:lmao: j/k

Honestly, I think you're better off just doing the Welds
Currently looking for a 91-92 Z28, TTA or GN

dude, just go for an all out drag racing look. who cares if they stick out a bit. You will luv the extra beef in the back. and it will look dahm intimidating. YOu say youre into straight line, well thats why those guys only do 15's. 15 = slicks :irocdrg:

to fit 315 your gonna need longer studs....a spacer or the correct backspacing on the rim....and a really big fcukin hammer....and a torch....and bang away at the inner 1/4 to make room....

and 15's...really.....

not yet...I need some time to contemplate this...shit that reminds me..i gotta call weld racing and see if they can custom make rims...if they can backspace their rims for me it would save alot of time and aggravation of getting spacers and new lugs...

ok..so what im thinking of doing is... go underneath my car and see if i can hammer and torch the wheelwell (like Alex said) and see how much clearance i can make...or maybe mini tub the rear....I am also considering getting offset rear LCA's to get that extra inch...

I was just wondering if anyone has done any of the above, just so i know if im gonna waste my time or not...

That is a nice drag car. are those 15" s? Now that i think of it. Just about every car thats set up for straight line racing and runs 11seconds or better uses 15" wheels.
