I agree. There are too many government vehicles that are GMs. Humvees included. I'd really hate to see how much the insurance would be on a new Camaro though...

What nobody realizes is the B. hussein Obama, Administarion is going to put in stipulations to give the big3 Bailout money. That they CAN NOT produce 8 cylinder cars anymore. And any car that dosent meet there too strict emissions standards, that will again change in 2010. This has already been said countless times during the hearings on capitol hill between congress and the big3 CEO's.. And eventually (prob pretty soon) us people with "old, not efficent cars" will be taxed extra to be able to own or operate one that dosent pass the new emissions tests. There is also a govt program were they will almost be trying to buy older cars (older being 4yrds old) and giving credits toward new more ecco freindly vehicles. This along with the 650 million dollars of youre money thats is going to NASA to study "Global Warming" (which our nations smarteset scientists and professors know does not exist) is the big signal for - again- the end of the new muscle car era... Also the end of being able to drive and buy whatever the hell we want.. We are now Socialists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. So maybe NYTHIRDGEN can get a group prurchase deal on carbon credits?

>They gotta make it ( new camaro )..Ford isn't in bad shape due, in large part, to the Mustang!...Let's face it, no other country makes any car quite like the pony car...If Ford didn't have that..it'd be waay under!...They have racing series built totally around the mustang...and the new camaro would give Trans-Am type competition again! Chrysler kinda blew it by not going retro enough...the Challenger and Charger ( 4 door? )are too big to be in the pony car catagory. I think the new Camaro will lift GM greatly! |

No more V8s??? That's fine by me as long as they bring back the Buick 3.8L turbo or something similar and better. Otherwise, it's just another reason to buy a GTR someday... |

http://www.buick.com/ngis/buick/pages/mds/...uturelanding.do pretty cool for a Buick, and the Enclave is nice, hopefully this is the begining of getting something going with buick, the cars have been granny boring cars, but the Chinese Park avenue is pretty cool, it should have been brought here rwd family car, http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...m%3D1%26hl%3Den |

That Chinese Park Avenue is NICE! Over in China, they don't care about pollition or Global Warming at all. In fact, buying bigger cars is encouraged over there. That explains why Buick and Hummer outsell the Jap cars. In fact, all the nice cars are overseas. The European BMW M cars are always faster and more powerful than the ones here in the US. The US always gets detuned versions of imported cars. Why? Federal emissions and safety regulations. In other words, it's all about the $$$. Companies have to pay big $$$ to get cars certified here in the US for sale here. Try importing a non-US spec car into the country... good luck. I tried, be prepared to bring the vaseline to your local government office. I wouldn't be surprised if the Camaro got killed off here in the US but got exported out to the foreign market. Or worse, we got stuck with the 6 cylinder Camaro while the Chinese and Japanese got the V8 powered ones. Wouldn't that be something... |

that would suck, but im pretty sure the V8 cars will be here the mpg is pretty good for a 400 hp V8, plus they have sold over 10,000 Camaros already a huge portion of which are V8 cars. 23 mpg for the SS sounds like my daily driver to me. Now I am going to pray its not short lived. |

You know, looking at the specs of the new Camaro, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a base model V6. the V6 is set to put out 304Hp and 273 lb/ft of torque. A few tweaks and that's more than enough to take on the G37 and 350Z from Infiniti and Nissan! Best part, the car starts at around $23000. |
