what can i modify next ?

I can't join in on the T tops off conversation, but i did take mine out of storage on tuesday morning, drove it to work 75 miles, My steering on my way to work felt rough a lot of hard spots. Had to stay over so I got my hotrel room and then headed out for some dinner. When my hor started beeping and stopping with the turn of the wheel. I pulled over and removed the horn off the steering wheel (aftermarket) drove about another 1/2 mile and it statrted again but constant pulled over and pulled the leads of both horns. N ow I discovered that my aftermarket steering wheel back cover rubbed column so bad that the inner and outer shell split free and thats what was rubbing and giving me hard spots. also the turn signal arm is not holding in place for lefts. I want a new steering column and a steel grant wheel - this aluminum one ain't cutting it for me How much does an NOS or good used run - any ideas ? |

Post a picture on how that wheel is mounted. I think theres supposed to be a spacer between the column and the wheel hub. Mine had that. |

The columns are not cheap and not a nice install... if you dont have to replace it i suggest against it. |
