tranny mount.... it that something i... someone who knows nothing about cars can do or should i just take it to the shop... its $75 at a shop...

do it yourself!
very easy
unbolt 2 bolts on left
unbolt 2 bolts on right
take a jack
lift tranny up a lil
(might need to disconnect driveshaft)
swap out mount
and bolt everything back up!

wel it sounds easy enough, jus gotta borrow a jack and jack mounts from sum1 and see what i can do..... i'll jus figure out how to disconnect the driveshaft when i get there... this will be the firs thing i'm actually doing to my car myself..

once again disconnecting the driveshaft is very easy
theres nothing to do up by the tranny
in the back theres like C shaped "clamps" which need to be removed using a small socket

YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE DRIVE SHAFT!! PUT A JACK UNDER TRANNY FOR SUPPORT THEN REMOVE 4 CROSS MEMBER BOLTS THEN TRAN MOUNT BOLTS REPLACE MOUNT ,REVERSE ORDER OF BOLTS

no need to take the shaft out, why are you changin the mount....is the rubber bad....you can jus get a poly one and throw it in....

when i take off i hear and feel a big pop, does it when i go into 2nd also, i was also told it was the mount

just to make sure it is the mount...you could try and lift the tranny (while still attached to the mount) and if it moves then yes...if it doesn't
