Hi Everyone I'm new to the site and I would like to introduce myself My name is Robert, Once the weather breaks and the decent warmer air arrives I'm going to be doing some mods to my car I actully got a new 700r4 and a 12bolt for my car, I have the orginal 700r4 and the orginal rear that I'm going to be getting rid of, The rear is a stock 3:42 ratio " 1 wheel peel" and the trans works fine just needs a pan gasket from sitting over time it dried up both have a little over 74,000 miles on it. So any1 who could use them and are willing to pick them up there more than welcome to have the parts once there removed The rear will be minus the drums and other brake pieces I need for my new rear please note that My email in montessz28@yahoo.com and my aim name is melayiroc1 i'm located in orange county ny |

Yeah I had 91 I sold recently I was gonna make it a bracket car but I couldn't afford to do so But I still have my 85 z28 I did the 91-92 ground effects and rear bumper cover to make it look the part along with rear spolier I'm tossed up right now on making a decent 1/4 mile car with some thoughts of being able to do some novice road racing trying to make the best of both worlds without having 2 cars |

Welcome to the site. What year and model Camaro did that 700R4 come out of? What motor was it mated to? I may have someone that will take it. |

Hey, The motor that its connected too is the factory 305 TPI the car is 1985 Iroc-z I'm hoping to do the swap in april once the nice weather rolls around The garage I have will not allow me to have the engine hoist at the height that I need it to be at I tried flatting the tires yada yada yada to gain them couple inches so I can do it sooner in a heated garage but the garage ceiling is just to low, But My drivetrain is gonna be a low compression 434 small block with a turbo not sure on the size yet most likely it'll be a 50trim with 700r4 from mikes transmissions out in cali 3000sthal with 12bolt out back with 411 gears the motor dyno'd at 423 hp already the shop that built my motor did the same motor minus smaller heads with a turbonetics 50trim and it made 649 at the wheels of a 89 t/a with 16psi running pump gas, Just a few months away til I can play again PLEASE NOTE!!! I forgot to mention in my previous post the motor is also looking for a good home as well its a lb9 305 TPI motor from a 85 iroc-z it has a little over 74k on it, I'm going to do my best to remove the harness for the comp and tpi with out cutting or ruining the harness that again is looking for a good home I just need someone to pick it up as well it is 100% for free as well as the trans and rear my only request's are that its picked up and it goes to a good home thats my only two concerns the engines drips a lil oil as typical and the trans could use a new pan gasket it leaks as well but other than that the whole drive train runs 100% |
