OK so i plan on doing a 400 swap probably sometime in november but i have this problem going on with the 700 that i was hoping to kinda of fix so i can crusie this summer.

1st to 2nd seem to shift fine but the 2nd to 3rd is really really late and i have to bring the rpm's up to get it to go into 3rd. then after it gets into 3rd going to 4th is fine.

this is all at low rpm driving like just driving around on the street

if i merge onto a parkway and lean into it, it shifts fine through out.

any idea's? i was told could be the servo.

also it is carbed with the lockup switch which the lockup works fine.

servo's apply the band for 1-2 & 3-4 shifts. dout that's your problem maybe a broken accumulator spring or a valve hanging up in the valvebody.
