actually.. I was under her ass the other day and it looks like I can only get 17's or 16's back there...My lower control arm brackets that i got welded in are in the way of the rim if i get 15's..I have 16's on now and if they were pushed further into the wheelwell they would hit about 1/4 of an inch..so technically i can go 16's with more backspacing but i would have to grind out the lower brackets a bit...15's would be no good, they would be in the way with the holes... I also got spohns offset lca's so i can actually go into the brackets with the tire (more backspacing) another two inches...

Once I get time, im gonna go back there with a tape measure and a hammer and torch and see exactly what im working with..but i have a whole front end coilover/kmember kit waiting for me to install first....

You could probably get away with using wheel spacers if you really want bigger wheels. But if you're setting up for drag racing anyway, you'd need the smaller wheels anyway, right?

yeah they say you shouldn't use spacers on a drag car...although there is this company that makes them for drag cars..i forgot their company name..

..I'm thinking i have to go with 17's in the back because 16 or less will interfere with my brackets..and i dont think i want to go 16's and shave off some of the bracket because the lca hole is really close to the bottom of the bracket.. people do race with 17's, all be it though I wont be having a real tall tire that will wrinkle the sidewall on launch..drag radials with not that much wall thickness should be fine....for now :D

the whole tire thing will be on stanby for now tho, until i buy a house, I might do this next year...
