My brother has the dual gate, you need the 5ft hurst shifter cable. Your shifter should have come with it. You have to loop the 5ft cable around the tranny cross member.

i have the hurst quarter stick pistol grip. my factory cable end was different, so i was forced to use the hurst supplied 5ft cable. it's looped around the trans crossmember too. make sue its not too loose, otherwise its gonna vibrate and annoy the shit out of you

you would think they would make a shorter cable if many f body owners find themselves wrapping it around the crossmember

Im 95% sure you cant use the stock cable..just call up the hurst tech guys to be 100%....i didn't wrap my cable around the crossmember..i made a huge loop on the side of the tranny...make sure there are no really sharp turns in the cable cause it'll be hard to shift..
