Ok, Here's what I'm planning... Stock motor with bolt ons, not planning on pushing much past 300hp. Going to run the stock tranny. I'm about to call CK Performance to do the following: CK Performance Shift kit Corvette Servo Transmission Cooler CK Performance 2k RPM stall What do you guys think? Anything I can improve on add or can live without? I'm looking to get the same shift feel that Ed's got. How much power can a stock 700R4 handle anyway? If I go heads and cam in the future will I be in trouble? |

Al the stock stall speed is 1250 I want 1600 with shift kit and hardened rebuild I would suggest my guy Citiwide Transmissions he is in Yonkers |

you should be fine if you go with the list u provided..300 is kinda pushing it i think with a stock tranny but you should be fine for a while, the question is more like...when you will blow ur tranny, not if .. a year or two depending how much you push it?? ..lol.......once you go over that 300 mark you are definately burning the candle at both ends..
