I dont think it was the shop's mistake. The cable might have just been shitty then it finally went.

Na. They probably Fcuked with it. Too coincidental that it failed a day or two after the tranny was installed.

Sam is right it might have been going bad. Put shouldn't they have seen that when they fixed the tranny?

Well, Mike did say that the thing have problems shifting for the longest. And Glen, it depends where on the cable it was starting to break from. Because, the cable is covered. the only place it isnt is where it attaches to on the tranny and on the shifter.

When putting in a b&m shifter, the bracket on the tranny needs to be bent out a bit..usually the 700r4 brackets are not that straight...and it makes it really difficult to shift..another thing is the way its routed..no sharp kinks... Is It the tranny guys fault? Who knows.. :idk:

When I installed my B&M it came with a new cable... and new bracket for the tranny. If the cable was installed too tight or in the wrong position it is easily possible that it wouldnt shift. I love my B&M Hammer shifter

Manny your right, no sharp kinks which is what i was guessing it was.

well this is what it was. the cable was old, and they didnt or couldntrun it the same way and after time the cablewas basically fix in it position. so the change in the bend unravled the cable. i saw it. no ones fault, 150 to buy and install.

i love the b&m shifter as well.
