OK so I decided to start using this site for more then just "hey" chatter and pick the brains of the car-guru's on here.....little info.....I am putting a 350 in the car that should produce 375-400hp...I will be putting a 4th gen rear and a T5......basic info anything else ask away.......I am going to be posting threads like this in other topics to gain as much insight for my build as possible...thanks in advnce guys.....

So I want to replace my auto with a T5....I need to know every piece that plays a part in the swap and what i should be looking to change....from most important to least.....and what companies do you suggest for those parts??

Also should I go to a shop for this or does one of you guys know how to do this swap??

If so can you help or guide me through it??

>so your car will be setup already for the hydraulic clutch system...so, all you'll need is the setup ( slave cylinder/mastercylinder/reservoir ), you use the same crossmember, use the same driveshaft, need the bellhousing, clutch fork, clutch ( 26 spline ), you'll need the torque arm mount for the T-5.....the pedal assembly.....shift plate, lower and upper shifter boots....mounting bracket for the clutch reservoir (mounts to the bracket that holds the brake prop valve ) I think that's all you need!

>Installing?...Yes...It's not that complicated! Whoever you get the T-5 from get the connection for the speedometer too. Your car has electric speedometer, so you'll need the link from the the T-5 speedo gear.....prob need to research that...perhaps it's the same that your auto now uses. What flywheel are you getting? The lighter iron one is best ( 16lbs. vs 30lbs for stock ). Make sure you get the right one to fit your motor...i piece rear seal or two piece seal...the flywheels are diff!
>for sure, if I'm free, I can help.....

>Are you doing this with the car on jacks? or a lift? It'll take a full day....with some breaks. You can speed things up by taking the center console out and just getting the shifter area clear so you can work. You first have to drop all that auto stuff....the trannie, the lines, the cables, the shifter and the lines associated with it, the brake pedal..etc. Then start the install.......
