>Ok...I have two 700r4's sitting in storage right now...1st one is a takeoff from a Camaro...I don't know about the mileage..it hasn't been rebuilt. but it worked when removed....2nd one is my own rebuilt 700r4. rebuilt by Banner Tarnsmissions in Bellmore...has about 2000 miles on the rebuild...has a shift kit in it, comes with ProTorque converter ( stock lockup ) and I think the 2-3 servo is a vette one we put in. The trannie is very strong with good firm shifts, chirps the tires and launches hard. It also has a finned aluminum pan to cool the fluid....This one's $500 and the other trannie is $ 200, but if someone really wants it I could let it go for less, since you probably will want to rebuild it.

not that hard, get 4 ramps, and put the car on them, take out the driveshaft diconnect the shifter cable and undo the 3 bolts that hold the tc to the flexplate, then undo the tranny bolts that hold it to the motor and put a jack under the pand and undo the middle bolt of the tranny crossmember, then undo the 4 bolts that hold the tranny crossmember to the car, tada, your tranny is out, its not that hard at all and can be done in about an half hour to an hour, then you just reverse the process and instal it,

can you tell ive done this a few times....
