I was looking into D & L Transmission in Huntington Station. I need a rebuild kit and full gear set. The other shop I was looking into was Rockland Standard Gear. Will not buy parts on eBay and prefer to know if the parts are made in USA or Italy - NOT in Asia like some shops advertise. Owned only 3 transmissions ever in 24 years and the American or Italian made M22 parts are all I will use. Thanks |

I will only ever buy my transmission parts from CK Performance in Bohemia. He actually makes his stuff inhouse and I've seen his work up close so I highly recommend him. |

Thanks for all the input guys and merrick this is my dads transmission for his 67 rs/ss. Were going with rockland standard gear because my dad wants to just go in buy the parts and go home and he works in yonkers. Thanks again for the input |

yea my dad has had this tranny since 94 and only 3 trannys ever since 1980 when he bought his first car so he really wants it fixed. bought the parts today from Rockland Standard gear and is going to start rebuild tonight. I had no idea that tranny could bolt onto my car haha interesting but still too expensive for this kind of car, a T5 is enough for these thirdgens, if you rocked more HP maybe a Borg Warner T10 or super T10, my trannys good tho |
