stuck bolt

hey guys one of the beauty bolts that hold my hatch on is like stuck other 3 come apart fine but one just spins when i try to loosen it has anyone had this prob or maybe have a idea how to hold it still?i tried useing a pair of vicegrips and priers but it just ripped apart the outside of the beauty bolt.i was going to drill it but idk if it gets to hot im afraid it will break glass any ideas?

ill get some pics after work i was thinking today about useing a grinder and cut of wheel and makeing a slit in it for a scre driver or flat piece of metal to hold it

what can i modify next ?
its a hinge , just remove the bolts that attached to the rear of the rood line ,just 4 nuts and washers , then you can work on the "beauty bolt"it the correct position

Pull the plastic trim off, and take the hinges off the car with the hatch, that's the way to do it, not the way you are doing it

no sadly the kid i got it off painted it and i think thats how he took it apart because the hatch sticks past rest of car by like 1/2 an inch and i tried adjusting it with inside bolts and wouldnt move far enough
