Looking to replace the oil pan that I have on the 350. Ill have the motor out in a few weeks, right now I have true dual exhaust but will be changing to a 2.5'' y-pipe and mufflex 4'' system.

I need a pan that will fit with the y-pipe, Im looking at the 20171Moroso oil pan but im not sure it will fit.

What aftermarket pans are you guys using with a y-pipe? Looking to stay under 150$.

I just replaced mine last month. I went with this one http://moroso.com/catalog/categorydisplay.asp?catcode=11002.

I am not sure what motor you have, but I have a 1979 motor so the dip stick in on the driver side.

Be careful which one you go with. They will say that it fits 82 92 Camaro/Firebird, but make sure it clears the stock y pipe. I ordered one from Jegs and the discription said it fit, but it didn't say it fit stock exhaust. I ordered this one http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/50221/10002/-1

Also, get a one piece oil pan gasket and not the 4 piece one. I went with the oil pump and pick up that Moroso recomended.

Over all it was an easy fit I just need to massage my y pipe. It hits the pan a little due to a crappy job putting in the y pipe by the PO.

I have a 75 block drivers side dipstick.

So I dont understand you have the jegs or do you have the 7qt moroso pan? From what I heard on TGO you can not get it to fit without modification to you y-pipe.

I dont need a 7qt pan. Im looking at the stock style 5qt moroso with no kickouts.

I also have the 2.5'' y-pipe going on not the tiny 2.25''. Its a downgrade from my true dual but i need the ground clearance.
