Alignments can be something that mechanics ca rip you off on. Many mechanics are incapable of using the machine and will "eyeball" it. B4 you get it done ask if they do it using an alignment machine. Also ask for a printout of specs before and after the alignment. (Source : Friend who worked at a dodge dealership).

yeah i heard alot of stories about eye balling alignments, where i live thats all everyone does! its hard to find honest work, but i looked on the firestone site and they give before/after printouts, as well as lifetime warranty, so they could keep re aligning how long you own the vehicle

well, i went to the firestone and honestly wasnt pleased :( the guy at the counter seemed like he woke up at the wrong side of the bed, the car pulled to the left previously, and still pulled afterwards, but not so much, i went back the guy took it in for another re align, test drove, and was worse, so i went back, and this time he was alot hotter and said he`ll give me a refund because there seems to be a underlying problem, so i was like you`re supposed to be the alignment people, so he tells me that it could be the tires that for my type of car i need good tires like firestone tires on them not cheap pepboys hankooks, and also i need to go the dealer for an alignment, so i said to put it back how it was so they took it again and the car still pulls to the left slightly, but more noticeable on the highway, plus i only got printout for the first time they aligned it, so i dont know if they got pissed and threw it anything way outa line, but whatever i guess i`ll have to go to another place, no big deal, i just thought they would have been a little more critical and try to see what the problem was so i could go straight down the road and not drag to the left
