I give up !!
Today jerry called me in the morning, asked me to give him a hand. I went over we got the iroc out of park, simple after going through my entire thing with the megashifter. Then slapped the stickers on the monte and put it on the road.

TO refresh your memory. This is my exhaust leak lol, Y pipe is sheared. so the rest of the exhaust hanging doesn't do anything at all for the most part lol

scott if by neutral you really mean park than yes it was in neutral

big shout out to mike, without him it would not have been possible at all.
I'm saving up a few bucks for gas so I can have the car out at the tuesday meet.

so far I've learned that the radio works when it wants too, and when it does the stations are off, for example if I wanna listen to 102.3wbab I have to tune to 103.9 and respectivly q104.3 is 105.9, and when the radio doesn't feel like working the cassette works fine. really love that the car came with a sound board recording of the grateful dead at the coliseum in '93  glad I never threw out my guns n' roses cassettes rockin' out to appitite for destruction in an '87 chevy is pretty rad.

the car has tons of torque to spare, posi works as it should and both wheels spin all the way through 1st and 2nd, horsepower on the other hand feels lacking as I expected, gonna get my atf level right tomorrow to try and ammend that. didn't over heat once and I had good oil pressure, better than I expected for a first drive, I'm broke so I only drove it for 10-15 miles or so but everything felt good so far.

I took the car to auto zone to get a few things and the car got a lot of attention, meet another monte owner whos gonna sell me fenders and doors in case someone hits me. when I existed autozone and was walking twards the car the feeling was undescribale, it was like looking at a best friend, way better than looking at yoko which was my usually reason for being there and sent stress right up my back everytime I looked at it, driving the little corolla humbled me, but I'm glad captain jack is finally drivable. going to own this car till either the day I die or the day it does,

a little write up for anyone who's missed me ;)
