I just purchased the MGW shifter because some of you know the T56 stock stamped shifter blows because it is cheaply made and is known for missing 3rd and 4th gear. I will update this thread with pictures and a good review along with a side by side shot of the two shifters. I have heard nothing but great things about this shifter and will be looking forward to installing it.

Got it today in the mail. Packaged nice, looks great and gives you lines on shifter if you wanted to cut it shorter. Here are two pics I took. I will compare the stock one to this masterpiece hopefully tomorrow.

I am probably the only one wanting to go manual to auto :P

Looks good though, I always wanted to grab the pro-5.0 shifter for the t5 but looks like I wont be keeping it for all that long.

Auto works much better in certain situations, like my car would suck with a stick. For a street car and a road course car I'd go stick, for a street brawler and a strip car auto is the only way.

I'm happy with the new shifter so far. I took around the block and it was night and day. The old one was shot, this new one makes it a lot easier to shift. I give these guys a 10/10

I agree auto is boring. but when you are trying to reach a specific goal its really the only way to go.

how does that shifter feel in the car compared to before?

It's a lot tighter and is super easy to put in gear. A lot shorter shifts also. Takes getting used to but not Ina. Bad way whatsoever
