This interview is completely OOC therefore is not meant to be seen by the regular public so please don’t reference it in your own rp’s. Lewis Dobson is sitting at his desk. He checks his watch… LD: …twelve thirty. He should be here anytime now. A knock on the door makes him stand up and fix the creases in his shirt and he straightens his tie. LD: Come in. “The Violent Messiah” Jonny Richter walks in and both men shake hands and sit down. JR: Lewis how have you been? How’s the family? LD: They are good thanks for asking. How are yours? JR: You know surprisingly we all seem to be getting along a bit better. Nikki and I are trying….. LD…. You two back together? JR: Yes and no. It’s complicated. But to be honest we are just trying to bring Parker up as best we can. I see him a lot more these days which is awesome. He is really a great kid and don’t tell Uncle Parker this but he actually stepped up to the plate where he is concerned. I’m proud of both of them. LD: You’re gushing about Parker Davis? Both men laugh a little at the thought. JR: Come on Lewis you know that the persona we put out on screen is different to what we do in private. Oh don’t get me wrong Parker can still act like a dick at times but he would do anything for the kid and that means a lot to me. We still argue but the guy is one of my best friend’s in the business. When Deraneo passed on I lost a good friend and man that was hard to stomach and took me an age to get over and then I get the news that Master’s passed away and that brought it all back again. Too many people die young in this game. I can’t afford to lose Davis. LD: Not many people would have known at the time that you and Dave, I mean Deraneo were so close? JR: No we kept that on the down low. We wanted to go out and have the best match’s we could have every night so once the music hit. There was just “The Violent Messiah” and Deraneo. Dave and Jonny did not re-appear until we were back in the locker room. Man we had some wars. LD: If I can ask, why are you coming back again? JR: Lots of reasons I guess, the itch is still there. I have been working as a fitness instructor for the past eighteen months or so in Roanoke and while I enjoy it, nothing beat’s the feeling of lacing up the boots and stepping out from behind the curtain. I still think I can go. I’m only thirty two so I’m not pensionable age yet. I’m fit and healthy and I feel like I have another world title or two in me so yeah when the e-mail came that there was a chance Wyldside was re-opening I quit the job and headed over to Wyld U to get the rustiness out. LD: Have you managed to get yourself back up to speed? JR: I’m probably at eighty five to ninety per cent ready at the moment but Van is one tough bastard and he will have me ready. LD: Getting back to Bill Master’s…. JR: ……. Right…… LD: How is Van taking it? JR: Look you know that things got a bit strained between them from time to time and they may not have always been the closest of people behind the scenes but there was a huge amount of respect between them and Master’s passing on I think it put Van’s mortality to the front of his thinking. I think it is a wakeup call for all of us really. LD: What did you make of J-Vo showing up like that and making a scene? JR: Bill would have loved it, and at the same time be mad he did not think of it first. Bill loved the business and that in his eyes would have been right for business. Was it right on a personal level…..I…. I’m not so sure but things surely would have been discussed behind the scenes beforehand right. At least that is what I would expect. |
