FO, are you asking me or WW44? If it was me, no I'm not a vegetarian. Broccoli is good for you, and you can make it taste good. Cheddar cheese sauce or ranch dressing can make it taste yummy. Kairi, can you cook for me? XD |

Heheh, I wouldn't mind being a chef to someone as long as they split the costs and cleaned up.
That's why I want to get an apartment with someone that likes to clean. It's, like, the perfect combination. At any rate, I now have 2 cakes and 5 dozens of cookies, lol. Also, I could never cook for a picky person. My little brother won't eat ANYTHING, it's really obnoxious. He's so closed-minded. It's quite irritating. It's not that my food isn't good; he even disdains food from high-quality restaurants. He just doesn't know anything about food other than the kind of desserts he eats (and he eats out of the ice cream tub directly). Absolutely no appreciation for culinary art. I just like broccoli plain, actually. It's the one vegetable I can eat plain. Others, I like to put in things. I try to avoid some sauces, like cheese sauces, because of the fat. |

My favorite snack food is probably popcorn. I eat, like, a lot of it. And I don't like the heavily-buttered popcorn, either. Heh. But it's good, filling, and better for you than potato chips. I have a slight concern with weight, as I used to be overweight. Hahaha. I looove meat, and I figured out how to make really good teriyaki chicken skewers. Ah, the best. Heheh. I really like my meat. XD |

I've just always thought that vegetarians miss out on the best food, just for the sake of living longer. IMO, living until you're 100 isn't going to be much different than somebody who lives until they're 75 or 80. Either way, somebody's still going to be changing your diapers in the nursing home (the other day I accidentally said "nursery home" by mistake, rofl). |

Lol, same difference. I don't know, I'm not a _huge_ vegetable fan, but "vegetable" is not the opposite as "tasty". There are some ways of cooking vegetables that I just can't stand, and it's true that some vegetables just suck. But if you can find a way to do it that you actually like, then hey, more power to you. I have a concern over health. It's all that you have, really. If you eat a fattening diet, not only are you going to live a shorter life, but again, you might not live it to the fullest, either. Nobody's really up and about after having serious diet-related diseases. What pays off today might be, like, cancer tomorrow. Mmm, carcinogens. That being said, I still won't stop eating my fried goods, but I eat them in moderation. I suppose it's just easy for us to say "screw it", because we're all young. But people who start smoking when they're young don't look really old when they first start out, either. It just takes time. And a lot has to do with diet. So, it's not ruling my thoughts completely, but if it's a small change with little or no consequence to me, then I'll do it. |

Most vegetarians aren't about living longer, but instead are about animal rights. |

Ah, yeah, that whole animal rights thing. Haha, I didn't even think about that. But that's why my uncle's a vegetarian, come to think of it. And when it comes down to that, I don't think that there really is a right answer. I personally just take the "Oh well" approach and eat it anyways. Man triumphs yet again over a poor animal, but oh well. If I won't eat it, somebody else will. I did meet a girl who's Buddhist and is vegetarian. Which is funny, because certainly, I've met more people who have declared themselves Buddhists, yet they aren't vegetarian. But I do know that you're suppose to be vegetarian, because I read it in some Japanese tourist book someplace... |

I couldn't dream of not eating meat, I love it lol. But I never try thinking about the poor animal that got killed in order to feed me. After all, death is a way of life, and we humans are part of the food chain so meh. If we were out in the wild, I'm sure a shark, tiger or bear wouldn't think twice about eating us.

Lol. Vegetarians can have protein, too. Plants are a source of protein, but they're incomplete proteins, which means you have to eat a lot of variety in order to get them all. Meat has complete protein in it. The only exception for the vegetarians are soybean products, which have complete proteins. Also, Timmothy Treadwell was eaten by a bear. Kind of like the Crocodile Hunter, only with bears. He took his girlfriend out in the wilderness to live with the bears and they both got eaten. |

"C'mon honey, it'll be fun. You'll be at one wi-- OH MY GAWD!" (Sorry, had to say it. xD) Vegetarians have different styles of eating. I mean, there's the vegans, and then there's that Zen vegetarian diet... People on that one don't live long. >>;;; Honestly, I wouldn't be able to stand it if I missed having my first BBQ'd steak of the summer every summer... S'just... Think about that meat, mmm... and, although it's not always healthy you have to admit the fat tastes good too. =P |

I think it's all about moderation, as well as your individual body needs. I know people that can eat the fat and skin and not get fat. Lol. So, I eat bad foods, but I don't eat too many. It's a good deal, I think. But I do keep an eye on what I take in. I have a lot of "healthy habits", and while they're a little bit of extra work, I haven't gotten sick since I made a huge effort to do so. The only thing that I need work on is my sleep, because I have a trouble with sleeping. But I might try some melatonin, which might work. I get samples of my blood all the time for some reason, and they always say that they're good, and my regular stats are good, too. At least I'm not going to be the loser that ends up with acquired diabetes during childhood. Or early adulthood. They predict that our generation might live shorter lives, on average, if we keep up the bad eating habits we're doing. I just don't want to be one of them. Healthy and living longer are really two different things, because I suppose you could end up living a miserable life for the last 20 years, but I want to be doing what I like to do (within reason) up to the last, you know, moment that I can. So, hurray for reasonable healthy habits. |

Heh, it's better to exercise and burn off calories than to just naturally burn them off, I think. It pays to be fit. Of course, if you don't care about that, then just cut back your portions. That usually works. But a lot of people who are worried about weight do a little bit of both, which is pretty effective. |

I don't know. I don't think I would care, one way or the other. Personality attraction is much more important, IMO, though it's usually different than from what everyone says. But I wish I had some muscles, just for practicality purposes. I used to have more than I do now. I am getting a membership for a community center workout place, so maybe I might do stuff. |
