Yes, but that's what the accepted definition of psychology is. I suppose we have our own definitions, but most people would agree to it being "the study of the brain and mind". It's really a vast field, since if you think about it, it has so much influence over what we do. In a sense, our world is created from our brains. But how you use it probably determines what category you'll be in. My dad always says, "I hope you're going to use that brain for good and not for evil." Heh.

I think that studying personal problems has its place in psychology; it's just not my place. And certainly, the brain and the mind have to do with personal problems, because of cognition and behaviors. So, there is a connection, but it isn't necessarily the "helping others" aspect.

The two areas where my interest lies are cognitive and social psychology, and perhaps biopsychology as well. I'm interested in both how people process information, and how we exert influences over each other. I want to know how we think, perceive, and make decisions, and perhaps more importantly, how to use this information.

Mm I've always wanted to be an Author or a Teacher of English.

I always said that too.

Only when I was finishing highschool did I decide that I wanted a career in business.

Before the first semester even started I changed my major to Enlgish with a minor in Secondary Education. And I'm always writing new stories.

Haha.

I was kinda talkin about that, but you said it better than me. Damn you, Asian.

WW44, I hope you like kids.. I couldn't stand kids that weren't mine, but I'm glad you have the patience for them.

When I was young, like around 9-10 I really wanted to make games, perhaps because I played them so damned much and was fascinated with them. That peaked when I got RPG Maker for PS1 and hit the ceiling with that game, since it was so limiting. I remember somewhere around then, being in middle school I tried to write a song one night but couldn't. It became very easy around when I was 15 so I started wanting to be in a band as a singer, then later also as a bassist.

Now, I'm not sure...the two things I think about most are music and wrestling, wrestling way more than music. Even with the notion that most people think it's dumb, it doesn't bug me, and I think about it more in-depth than before. I'm still certainly a fan, but it's not just cheering and booing who is a good guy or bad guy, I dislike the people with stale gimmicks or repetitive movesets, and think about various personalities I could use when wrestling and how matches could end, not to mention moves and names for them. I don't have the money for training yet, so I can't test it out to see if it's just a passing fancy. I feel like my life is in limbo right now since I'm not doing anything, but ideally I could get a wrestling career going and then later also do music, kind of like Chris Jericho. Ideally I'd rather do music first, then wrestling, since wrestlers aren't taken very seriously, and musicians or really any celebrity from a medium such as movies or music seem to have an easier time getting into wrestling. Hell, if Kevin Federline and Donald Trump can do it, so could I.

Don't forget ICP. They've done pretty decent back in the WCW days, and of course the Juggalo thing.
