Member #3 Joined: March 31, 2006	Julian Apr 3 2007, 08:52 PM I like the sound of a Bose surround sound system in the A6 :P Don't think that'll happen though :D I definately think exteriorwise the Audi is more aestetically pleasing then the BMW, but the 2.7 diesel will have very high road tax because of it's high carbon emissions. We'll book a test drive in them both in the near future. Diesels actually have lower carbon emissions than petrols these days Julian, the Audi 2.7 diesel produces 184g/km whilst the 2.8 petrol produces 207g/km Similarly with the BMW, the 530i petrol produces 212g/km whilst the 530d produces just 179g/km Comparing them - Audi A6 Avant 2.7 Diesel is 184g/km whilst the BMW is 212g/km. The Audi therefore lower in tax....
